Payments
What teachers pay for, what happens when a payment fails, and when a subscription can be refunded. Students never pay Relentu.
§ 1. Scope
- This Payment Policy explains what is paid for on Relentu, by whom, and what happens when a payment succeeds, fails, or is cancelled.
- It forms an integral part of the Terms of Service; a term defined there has the same meaning here.
§ 2. Who pays
- Only Providers pay the Operator, and only for their own Subscription.
- Recipients never pay the Operator anything. The Operator does not process payments between a Provider and their Recipient: a payment from a Recipient to their Provider is an arrangement between those two, made outside Relentu, to which the Operator is not a party.
- The Operator holds nobody's money on anyone else's behalf, and takes no commission from lessons.
§ 3. Plans
- The Service is offered on the following plans:
| Plan | What it costs | What it includes |
|---|---|---|
| Free | nothing | 10 video lessons a month — and everything else the product has: recipient space and messaging, kits, files, progress tools, insights and the booking page |
| Trial | nothing | Everything in Pro, for 30 days. No card; granted once per account on registering as a Provider |
| Pro | from €40 a month | The same, with no monthly limit on lessons |
- Pro is charged for a term chosen by the Provider, and a longer term costs less per month:
| Term | Price | Effective saving |
|---|---|---|
| 1 month | €40 | — |
| 3 months | €108 | 10% |
| 6 months | €198 | 17% |
| 12 months | €360 | 25% |
§ 4. Prices and tax
- Prices are stated in euro.
- Whether tax is added to the price, and at what rate, depends on where the Provider is and on the Operator's tax registration.
- The total to be charged is displayed before the purchase is confirmed, and that total is what is taken.
§ 5. The trial
- A new Provider account starts a 30-day trial of Pro automatically. No card is asked for and nothing is charged.
- The trial is available once per account.
- When the 30 days end the account moves to Free on its own. Nothing is charged and nothing is deleted; the monthly allowance of the Free plan applies from that point.
§ 6. Paying, renewing and cancelling
- Payment is taken by Stripe. The Operator never sees or stores a card number — Stripe holds it, and the Operator keeps only what is needed to show which card is on file and to issue an invoice.
- A Pro Subscription renews automatically at the end of each term, at the price of that term, until cancelled.
- A Subscription may be cancelled at any time from the account. Cancelling at the end of the term keeps access until that term runs out, after which the account moves to Free.
§ 7. Refunds and the right of withdrawal
- A full refund is available within 14 days of the start of a paid period, provided no lessons were held in that period. The refund is for a change of mind, not for a term already used, so a single lesson closes it — the Subscription may still be cancelled, and access continues to the end of the term paid for.
- A Consumer under Polish law also has the statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days, on the terms set out in the Terms § 10, which says where to send the declaration and gives a model withdrawal form in Annex 1 — it may be used, but need not be.
- Nothing in this policy limits that right. Where the two differ, whichever is better for the Consumer applies.
§ 8. When a payment fails
- A failed renewal does not close the account.
- The Operator gives notice, and the Subscription stays active for a grace period of 7 days so that the card can be updated. Where the payment has not gone through by the end of it, the plan moves to Free.
- Content is not deleted at any point in this process. What changes is what the plan allows.
§ 9. Invoices and records
- Stripe issues an invoice for every successful payment, and those invoices are available in the account.
- The Operator keeps the invoice records — amount, tax, date, invoice number, and the payer identity a valid invoice requires — for 5 full calendar years counted from the end of the financial year in which the invoice was issued, because Polish accounting law requires it.
- That is also why those records survive the deletion of an account: the obligation is the Operator's, and is not the Account Holder's to waive.
§ 10. Changes to prices and to this policy
- The Operator may change prices and this policy.
- A price change never affects a term already paid for. It applies from the next renewal, and notice is given before that renewal so that the Subscription can be cancelled first.
- Questions about a payment go to hello@relentu.com.
- The version of this policy in force, and the date on which it took effect, are displayed on this page. It is effective as of 2026-08-01.
